Before Jeff Gordon® embarked on his iconic NASCAR® career, he was making a name for himself on the
dirt tracks of America. From the Midwest, to the west coast, and at more tracks across the map, Gordon®
was a phenom in Sprint Car racing that quickly caught the attention of NASCAR® team owners, including
Rick Hendrick, who eventually brought Gordon® to the NASCAR Cup Series®.
Gordon's early success in NASCAR® was from behind the wheel of a Dupont-sponsored No. 24 Hendrick
Chevrolet that had an unmistakable blue, green, yellow, and dayglo red rainbow livery. To
this day, Gordon®’s legacy remains synonymous with victories from behind the famed No. 24 DuPont car.
