NASCAR® legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. couldn’t be kept away from the
driver’s seat following his retirement from full-time competition in
2017. The following season, Dale Jr.made his return to competition at
Richmond Raceway late in the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series® season in a
yellow, blue, and white-themed Chevrolet. Dale Jr. started onthe outside
pole and finished an impressive fourth, proving that a little time away
from his driving duties could not temper his passion for success.
Fast forward six seasons and JR Motorsports driver Brandon Jones will
be turning back the clock to Dale Jr.’s 2018 Hellmann’s ride during the
Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR® at Darlington Raceway. Jones’ No.
9 Menards Chevrolet Camaro will sport a throwback look that brings fans
back to that incredible night at Richmond.
